Buying Christmas presents this year is going to be SO hard. There are just so many amazing gift choices out there thanks to the handmade revolution - all those talented creative types selling their wares on sites such as Etsy. One recent great little find is Tsk Tsk. It is the work of Australian artist and designer Tiel Seivl-Keevers who has been creating original art for five years after studying fine arts at university. Her artworks and greeting cards are too cute for words.
Which five words best describe you? Creative. Honest. Tenacious. Loyal. Stubborn.
What’s your proudest achievement? Surviving six years of motherhood whilst being able to maintain a creative outlet to keep me sane.
Who inspires you? My family and anyone who has taken a chance in making their creative business a success.
What are you passionate about? Birds. Colours. Nature. Textiles.
What’s the best lesson you’ve learnt? That I should have worn sunscreen everyday of my life. I try and do it now, but I think the damage has been done.
Which person, living or dead, would you most like to meet? Orla Kiely and Florence Broadhurst.
What’s next? A morning coffee. More surface art on fabric or stationery. More serious artworks on canvas.
What are you reading? Same as you, The Divided Heart by Rachel Power. Only one chapter to go. Eco Colour by India Flint.
